I don't know about you, but I've noticed a distinct 'crisp' in the air the last few days and that's a sure sign Seattle is rolling into fall. September is a beautiful month in Seattle. The sunny days are laced with a cool breeze and even cooler nights. Outfits this month can combine dresses with cute boots and no tight. Tulle is one of our favorite brands at Carmilia's. Their pieces are always cute and unique and also extremely well priced. So far this fall, we've received two dresses and a darling cropped jacket. Each piece retails for right around $80. Every month we'll receive Tulle deliveries. They sell fast, don't miss out!

One of the best colors this fall (and every fall, for that matter) is deep teal. It's a great transition color because it works so well with sun-kissed skin and the great chocolate browns going forward to fall. Carmilia's has some great teal fashions in store. Michael Stars always hits the mark with colors and styles and this season is no exception. There are some beautiful teal tees in supima and shine to choose from. A new brand for us is Soul Revival and there's an amazing teal dress in store now. It's soft, slinky and sexy. Stop in soon!

The West Seattle Summer Fest was tons of fun and we saw so many great customers throughout the weekend. Thanks to the Junction for hosting such an amazing yearly event. There are still some great sales picks left at Carmilia's, and we never stop getting new merchandise. This week we're scheduled to receive Susana Monaco, Joie, Red Engine and Miss Me Couture. Yesterday, a box arrived from Awake Couture and contained beautiful silk tees featuring two of the hottest blondes of all time. These will be great right now with white skinny jeans (in stock!), but great in the fall with black skinnies and boots. Shop soon!

Summer Fest and Sale, this week!

It's time for the West Seattle Summer Fest.

Things will kick off at Carmilia's on Thursday, July 12, starting at 11:00 and rolling until 9:00. The sale starts at 11:00, all regularly priced merchandise is also 20% off! From 6:00 - 9:00, we'll have live music and it's the West Seattle Art Walk. Sid Law is an amazing one-man band and will be performing Thursday night as you shop and enjoy sips and snacks. He is not to be missed!

Also, Carmilia's will be featuring art by Center High School students and the Flatstock Project. Posters and tee shirts will be for sale and proceeds benefit Center High, a local public high school with a focus on arts integration. Don't miss all the fun Thursday and then plan to come for a weekend of fun and (hopefully) sun! Festival hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00-9:00 and Sunday 11:00-7:00.
